Sarah and Christopher came to Santorini for a wedding built around one idea: white and green, and plenty of it. The morning started quietly — robes, jewellery, the rings laid out by the pool — before a small whitewashed chapel, a vintage car and the drive up to the terrace where everything was waiting.

Their ceremony arch was a full circle of white roses, hydrangeas and trailing greenery, hung with crystal chandeliers and ringed with candles, standing open against the view across the island. After the vows the same palette carried straight into dinner: long tables beneath the chandeliers, green and white centrepieces, gold-rimmed plates and a tiered cake.

The evening ended the way the best ones do — sparklers overhead, the sky turning pink behind the hills, and the two of them still dancing.
