Bottega

Memories you can take with you.

At our shop Bottega, we believe that the journey matters just as much as the destination.

We curate unforgettable memories with an array of handmade products, including modern Greek and Sicilian pottery, captivating souvenirs, and exquisite local olive oil, honey, and spices, ensuring your visit is a truly multi-sensory experience that celebrates the richness of Santorini.

In this way you can bring a piece of that memory back home.

What you’ll find

Curated, not collected.

Everything on the shelves is chosen for craft and provenance — pieces that belong to this island.

01

Wines to take home

Greek and Santorinian wines to open again at home — or to share the taste of the island with the people who could not travel.

02

Spices & olive oil

Aromatic Greek herbs and spices with premium olive oil, so the flavours you found here follow you into your own kitchen.

03

Pottery & tableware

Handmade Greek and Sicilian ceramics that bring a little of the Mediterranean to your own table.

04

Souvenirs & gifts

Traditional souvenirs and carefully chosen local gifts — something meaningful to remember the journey by.

Inside the shop

Santorini, in a form you can carry home.

The shop began for a simple reason: guests kept asking us where to find the things they had seen during the week — the oil on the table at the rehearsal dinner, the ceramic the flowers arrived in, the soap in the villa bathroom. So we started stocking them.

From the island’s own producers

Volcanic-soil wine and vinsanto, capers and caper leaves, fava from Santorini’s protected crop, cherry tomatoes preserved the old way, thyme honey, olive oil and sea salt. Small producers, most of them a short drive from our office.

Made by hand, on Santorini

Ceramics thrown and glazed on the island, woven linen, hand-poured candles and soaps scented with wild herbs, and jewellery inspired by the caldera. Pieces that were made a few kilometres from where you are standing.

For the table

Serving boards, linen napkins, glassware and the small ceramic dishes we use at Madame Sousou. The most common thing we hear from guests is that they want their dinner table at home to feel a little like the one here.

For the couple

Keepsakes chosen to last: a bottle of vinsanto to open on the first anniversary, a ceramic piece signed by the maker, a print of the caldera on the morning of the wedding.

Weddings & groups

Welcome bags, favours and thank-yous.

If you are marrying with us, the shop quietly becomes part of the planning. Most couples use it three times over the course of the week — and never have to carry a thing through an airport.

01

Welcome bags

Waiting in each room when your guests check in: water, something local to eat, a hangover remedy that actually works, and the weekend’s schedule printed on good paper. We deliver to hotels and villas across the island.

02

Favours at the table

A small bottle of oil or vinsanto at each place setting, a ceramic dish that doubles as a place card, a candle poured with the same herbs as the ceremony flowers. We keep quantities flexible until the final guest count.

03

Thank-yous, after

For parents, for the friends who travelled furthest, for the people who read at the ceremony. We can hold gifts and send them once you are home, so nobody is packing ceramics into hand luggage.

Personalising

Labels, ribbons, tags and cards can carry your names and date, or match the stationery from the rest of the wedding. Anything printed or engraved needs about three weeks; everything else we can usually turn around inside a week.

Delivery on the island

We deliver to hotels, villas and venues anywhere on Santorini, and we can time it to a check-in, a rehearsal dinner or the morning of the wedding. There is no minimum order for couples planning with us.

Shipping home

We pack fragile pieces properly and ship worldwide. Glass and ceramics travel far better in a courier box than in a suitcase — and it means you can buy the thing you actually wanted rather than the thing that would fit.

Not marrying with us?

The shop is open to everyone. If you are visiting Santorini and want a genuinely local gift rather than something imported for the season, write to us and we will point you to what is good right now.
